What This Site Covers
The three articles on this site address the three areas where most hiking-related questions arise: which routes exist and how they are graded, how conditions change across seasons, and what gear and safety preparation is appropriate for Czech mountain terrain.
The information is drawn from Czech national park documentation, KČT (Klub českých turistů) trail data, Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ) climate records and the Mountain Rescue Service (Horská Služba) incident reports. External links point to the relevant authoritative sources.
Content is reviewed and updated at least twice per year, and seasonal articles are updated ahead of the relevant season where significant changes to conditions or trail status have occurred.
